You don't see this kind of special weirdness in films these days. Poignant if not trippy and perplexing at times. Depp offers up a simply dynamite performance as Raoul Duke that simply has to be seen to be appreciated.
Few films manage to put one inside the drug addled mind of a true blue iconoclast.
