I was going to write 'odd movie' but it is Terry Gilliam! Visually as always with Gilliam it looks great and strange and psychotic. He was probably the perfect man to direct such material. Performances are superbly loopy and strange from Depp and Del Toro.
However, I just didn't really care and get hooked into the movie like I expected.
