My number one movie. Johnny Depp is a dream. No one in the world could possibly do Hunter S Thompson justice as well as he does in this movie. And I think, definitely Terry Gilliam's best work. The film successfully invokes the same spirit and attitude as Thompson's book and indeed Dr.
Thompson himself.
