Review of Fay Grim (2007) by Qing W — 04 Oct 2007
Damn, talk about a septuple-cross! ;-D This intriguing tale thrusts the fabulous indie-queen, Parker Posey, into the world of espionage. Her quest to find her fugitive husband puts her on a slippery slope to terrorism.
Echoes the classic film noirs with its INTENSE ambiguities (plot & characters) and the canted camera angles. All in all, I didn't find this interesting style to be distracting (unlike SOME people), and I thoroughly enjoyed the film.
Definitely worth the rental!
