I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! I saw City of God. It was an eye opening for me. There are many other documentaries about Favela (biggest slum area in Rio, Brazil. But Favela Rising is so uplifting. A lot of documentaries about third world country are focusing too much on violance, poverty and all the negative stuff.
But this movie talked about trust, friendship, brotherhood, community and hope. It's very refreshing.
