Review of Father Goose (1964) by Ned (Jesus Is My Best Friend) — 21 Aug 2008
I loved Cary Grant's swaggering, foul-mouthed, whiskey-swilling character quite a bit, and Leslie Caron's schoolmistress is highly entertaining during her drunk scene. The story and humor are similar in vein to "Operation Petticoat," another Cary Grant classic.
Though the film isn't terribly funny (I personally found those kids to be very annoying), it is pleasant enough to enjoy just about anytime.
