Review of Father and Son (2003) by Ed Q — 13 Mar 2009
A sepia-toned lyrical excursion of the male essence. Seems like Sokurov wants to discuss masculinity in terms of sexuality, sensitivity and responsibility, and the execution of this task is beautiful, dreamlike and rather confusing, but definitely unique, as always.
