Review of Father and Son (2003) by Volodymyr L — 18 Sep 2007
Masterpiece! Akin to many most accomplished works of cinematography, this film simultaneously deals with an entire scope of subjects and digs into/philosophises/moralises on none of them. As though it glides on the surface of the rich and complex fabric that life itself is.
Still it offers more insights into the universe of the family's Gordian knot of loves and hates than any other film produced in last several decades. An autopsy of souls.
