Review of Fatal Attraction (1987) by Maria S — 31 Jan 2009
Glenn Close steals the show in this cheesy 80's suspense thriller that resulted in Michael Douglas being typecast in similar films later on in his career. While this film was decent, it really surprises me that it was nominated for 6 Academy Awards, for it isn't even remotely that good.
Close was certainly worthy of the recognition, but overall this was a weak effort in an even weaker decade for cinema.
