There's more to it than just the famous bathroom scene. glenn close shines as a crazy bitch. she's so good. makes u even feel sad for her. besides, this film is tense, exciting, dramatic and worth every praise it got then and still worth watching it now.

remember the scene in the beginning, when Alext triers to lure Dan to come over the next day? Alex over the phone: "Bring the dog! I love animals! I'm an excellent cook!" reminds of the scene later in the film? anyone? cinematic brilliance!!!
