Review of Fatal Attraction (1987) by Cat P — 02 Feb 2010
A classic "love" story - but amazing! Should give pause to those who watch before cheating on their better half. Affairs normally don't end well! I loved that this movie had a multitude of layers.
On one hand, I was upset at the guy for cheating - but on the other hand, I started feeling bad for him for what his adulteress was doing. The best part of the film is a quietness throughout. I love when films build up tension by the unsaid - the unsung - the silence.
It's creepy and subtle and not everyone will notice that there's no noise or music, but most will feel the unease.
