Glenn Close's famously terrorizing performance as an obsessed stalker does not disappoint. Neither do the ample creative ways the screenwriters found for her to creepily worm her way into Michael Douglas' life.
Flustered Douglas gives in to temptation and has an affair with the seemingly calm and collected Close. After being replenished by the steamy romance, Douglas tries to return to his ordinary family life.
But Close refuses to let go and becomes a threat to the lives of Douglas and his family. Close makes one of the best movie villains of all time. A-.
