Review of Fatal Attraction (1987) by Yi L — 13 Jul 2018
Clichéd plot, i. e. the other woman messing up lives. But with BPD it's more watchable. I'm not saying mental illness isn't serious but I've been in contact with someone with BPD so this is relatable.
Unfortunately the movie doesn't treat it with compassion-we are prone to sympathizing with the protagonist, who is the morally wrong, and hating the other woman. But it's thrilling and somehow realistic as to BPD nevertheless.
A good movie.
