A very deep and suspenseful thriller that will truly put you on edge. Adrian Lyne directs this classic of a married man and lawyer Michael Douglas whom has an affair one weekend with a woman played by Glenn Close, following the affair she has the obsessive attraction to him following him everywhere and attempting to force herself into his life.

This film is very shocking and very disturbing, showcasing the action of someone truly insane. Glenn Close's performance is horrifying, disturbing and truly brilliant. She shows the obsession, the love, and later the hate and her quest to terrorize Dan Gallagher (Douglas) and his family. Michael Douglas's performance is top notch, he shows regret with his affair but also fear once she begins stalking his every move, continuously phoning his house and attempting to thrust herself into his life.

The film's story however it did start slow once it did get moving it was one of the most gripping thrillers I have ever seen. I liked this film because despite being a thriller it had a twist of horror to it. There were many memorable scenes from her various methods of stalking, to the vandalizing of the car and the boiled rabbit as well as kidnapping Gallagher's daughter. This woman was truly a deranged psychopath and this performance is what truly keeps you interested and on the edge of your seat. The film had a very shocking, eerie and suspenseful ending. Fatal Attraction is a true 80's style film and it is no doubt one of the best psychological thrillers I have ever seen.
