Review of Fatal Attraction (1987) by Critic M — 09 Aug 2013
The essence of fear, dread and true discomfort is captured in this intense and very provoking thriller. Michael Douglas gives a great performance along with the frighteningly believable Glenn Close. Adrian Lyne's direction is excellent and captured a truly tense overall mood. The story is incredibly well paced and the screenwriters did a sensational job. As a man watching this film I could truly understand the fear and paranoia Douglas' character was going through. The stakes were set very high considering all that he had to lose.
I think all men need to see this film before they hit the dating scene, or consider the idea of cheating on their significant other. "Fatal Attraction," delivers shocking thrills, and eerie life lessons.
