Review of Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! (1965) by Gavin M — 22 Sep 2007
I loved this movie. It wasn't a masterpiece by any means, but it was down, dirty, and fun. Yes, I'm sure it's a bit sexist by current standards, however I felt that the treatment of all the characters in the film were a bit demeaning towards their sex.
Besides I cannot believe that this film was not meant to be tongue and cheek. Plus the opening narration to the sound waves is perhaps on of the coolest visuals I have ever seen, and I someday hope to steal that to begin a film (letâ??s call it an homage).
Lastly, who doesn't want to die by Tura Satana? I mean come on.
