Review of Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! (1965) by Twilight Z — 23 Mar 2007
Extremely "of its time". If ever you wanted to watch a film capturing the (grossly exaggerated) modern perception of the 60's, watch this film. A definate child of the post-Hayes "sexploitation" genre, the plot can pretty much be summarised as big-boobed women race cars and kill people.
Nice and snappy, if a little drab towards the end. Also an amusing look back at what would be seen as "kinky back in the 60's. There was one guinely shocking scene, oddly evokative of 'American History X', but other than that, a fun and pointless "tribute" to the sexploitation wave of the time.
