Surprisingly insightful for a straight-up action movie, especially one starring the Rock. I didn't totally understand the inclusion of all of the characters (such as the hit man), but it all worked out to be a sort of metaphorical trip about forgiveness and finding yourself.

Built upon the whole idea that Driver is just going to kill everyone that had to do with his brother's murder, the movie seemed like it was going to be on one track the whole time. Somewhere in the middle, though, it derailed.

.. and it wasn't terrible. I appreciate the idea that it could've made a damn good Film Noir.
