The Rock's Point Blank perhaps?
Probably not as he is no Lee Marvin. What we do have is a serviceable revenge thriller which is quite a lot of fun. The supporting cast around The Rock help and whilst there is nothing new here, it kinda works.
Where the film really drops the ball is with it's ending. There was an opportunity to end the film with quite a shocking and apt moment, but the desision was made to take a more traditional and unbeleivable path instead which ruins the film as far as I'm concerned.
Well made but pointless.....
