Sean Penn was the perfect choice for the role of the "ultimate slacker" Jeff Spicoli. Phoebe Cates was hot in the infamous pool scene. Jennifer Jason Leigh was also a hottie. Judge Reinhold was funny.
Ray Walston was great as Mr. Hand. I believe this movie was to high school as "Animal House" was to college.
