Review of Fast Food Nation (2006) by Kevin T — 17 Apr 2008

I didn't initially feel that the movie was as dull as dishwater untill the end credits rolled and I was left with a "huh?" feeling.

Several questions were thrown up during the course of the movie and while I don't need everything explaining, I do expect some sort of resolution.

Where the hell did Kinnears character go and did he manage to sort out the shitty burgers?

Did the cows get out of the field on their own without the help of the pretentiously annoying students?

And what do the Mexicans have to do with anything anyway? Ok, cheap labour but do we really need to focus on them crossing the borders? Not really, I think thats a movie in it's own right.

"If" this was a documentary then it probably would have rated higher in my opinion but as it stands it's just a bunch of people semi related to the meat industry going about their lives which I have no interest in whatsoever.

Yeah, in hindsight, it should have been made into a documentary.
