"fast food nation" might have made for any interesting book, but it is not translated well into a film. there's a lot of storylines going on, which I don't have a problem with, but pretty much none of them have a proper resolution.

paul dano's character and storyline about robbing the place he works for is pointless, and greg kinnear completely disappears from the movie entirely. what happened? I liked his character and wanted more from his story.

this was a very disappointing film.
