Review of Fast Food Nation (2006) by Yi C — 28 Dec 2008
Very disturbing, character driven film that's loosely based on the book by the same name. This isn't a documentary, nor is it a thriller, but it's a compelling drama with an excellent cast that just may have convinced me to never eat fast food again.
The last 15 minutes made me sick to my stomach and the fact that the subplots weren't given any closure was disappointing as well. However, the statement made by it is very effective. I'm starting to agree more and more with PETA every day.
Vegetarianism is a viable option.
