Review of Fast Food Nation (2006) by Andy O — 26 Mar 2010
I don't know what this movie was trying to portray, it seemed to be a mish-mash of different stories that didn't seem to have an end! I understand each of the stories are controversial, the illegal immigrants crossing the boarder to work in America, the unscrupulous meat producing corporations bypassing health and safety rules to make money faster, and of course the fast food corporations willingness to turn a blind eye for the sake of a peaceful life...
The movie rolls are well acted, but this doesn't make this a great movie for me. I also didn't enjoy seeing the slaughter process of the cows at the conclusion of this movie, I love meat, and I know that this happens, but I don't want to see it...NO THANK YOU!!!
WARNING...NO FOR ANYONE WITH A DELICATE CONSTITUTION!!!
