Review of Fast Food Nation (2006) by John M — 14 Aug 2010
I had mixed feelings about this one. On the one hand there is some good storytelling, well defined believable characters and some nice dialogue. One the other hand, the acting is a bit uneven at times, and for me the movie tries to tell far too many stories with far too many characters that in the end it feels incomplete and you're not sure what it really wanted to say.
I didn't think it was particularly effective in its message about the Us food industry, but it was still interesting as a film. I just felt it could have been done a better, it felt like a bit of script editing would have really helped tighten it up.
