Review of Fast Five (2011) by Shane B — 22 May 2013

I have never been a fan of this franchise, but this film kind of gave me a second perspective. When done right, this serious can get passed some of the flaws they have, such as the lacking character development and some poor dialogue here or there.

And this film gets everything right. The action is intense, there's enough story to where you can get involved with the characters, and a good chunk of the actors are pretty good in the film. This is also definitely written much better than the other films.

They definitely revamped this franchise and hopefully it stays that way for how many other sequels they decide to through into the mix.
