Review of Fargo (1952) by Jason M — 29 May 2013
Sometimes real life provides stories so bizarre and unheard of even Hollywood has to take a step back; Fargo is the rendition of one such story that thankfully found its way into the hands of the equally eccentric Coen Brothers.
Perhaps the most exciting aspect of the film is its constant movement between the profane, bloodthirsty nature of criminals and the sweet, comic relief of the protagonist, played to perfection by Frances McDormand.
