Review of Fargo (1952) by Ken S — 15 Apr 2014
The Coen Brothers really hit every note right in this quirky dark comedy. The setting is cold, the characters are realistic, and the story is wonderfully put together. I love Macy's performance as everything keeps fucking up worse and worse.
..and yet he seems to keep thinking it might all work out at some point. Frances McDormand is never better than her wonderful performance as Marge. This was an instant classic, and it has held up very well to secure it's position as a classic.
