Review of Farewell, My Queen (2012) by Harper S — 08 Aug 2012
It's an 18th Century French Downton Abbey. Yes, it's historically inaccurate, but it looks great and tells an absorbing story. The actors are fantastic and having fun with a terrific script about the last days of French royalty at Versailles as seen from the perspective of the servants.
If you enjoy historical novels, this film is definitely for you.
