A stunning visual feast that elegantly interweaves the story of two Beijing Opera stage brothers as lived during China's turbulent transition in communism. It made me appreciate that independent of cultural and political bias human nature is driven by the need to fulfil its basic emotional needs.
A movie that will have you thinking on many levels.
