Visually very pretty, & heroine quite adorable. BUT her motivations are obscure and/or implausible. (Also several absurd mistakes or coincidences, but blame that on Hardy.) Continuity is confusing or absent due to apparent over-editing.
Yet film is over-long and tedious, especially during 2nd half. Disappointed, & surprised by mostly good reviews.
