Review of Far from the Madding Crowd (2015) by Phillip D — 22 Aug 2015
Based on the literary classic by Thomas Hardy, FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD. This is an interesting film, if you want to spend a decent amount of time following a story of a woman that attracts three different men.
The film is held up by strong performances, particularly by Mulligan, who displays a strong women, to add to her more familiar roles, while the film tends to drag on for a while, it's definitely a good comeback for Mulligan.
I would recommend this for people who are used to period pieces.
