Review of Far from Heaven (2002) by Michelle W — 16 Jan 2010
This is an attempt to address to issues of America in the 50s. This film looks like it's from the 50s and the score is exquisite. Like any realy artwork, it evokes a feeling, a feeling that you can't explain, but comes straight from the heart.
Also like a piece of art, over-ambition shows in the from of stiffness. A really good movie will just flow, you accept what it shows you without question, but this is Far from that.
