Review of Far and Away (1992) by Jessica N — 16 Jun 2010
As a period piece, I love this movie. I had forgotten that it was a Howard/Glazer production. Cruise and Kidman kill it (I mean that in a good way) and the story is wonderful. Best parts are the fight scenes in Boston and the ride for land.
Views of sweeping landscapes and seeing the promise of America relfected in this film make it worth seeing.
