Good performances from Cruise and Kidman. They have good chemistry and there are some good amusing scenes such as with the fruit bowl, and later when he's teaching her to wash clothes. Also, the scene with Cruise's dad "You came back from the dead to call me odd?" The ending was a bit too like a dream or fantasy and seemed silly and contrived.
