Review of Fantastic Planet (1973) by Tristan S — 18 Jun 2008
A truly odd film, but a uniqute treat for the eyes. The animation unfortunately is not of the best quality, but the plot and the allegorical content that the story is immersed in more than makes up for that.
The film carries a message that is very similar to that of 1984 or Animal Farm, and it belongs in the realm of such great books.
