The bare bones plot is pretty straightforward. Weird, but straightforward. However, the beautifully strange visuals (kind've like the animated segments from Monty Python), and wonderfully bizzare creatures turn it into the acid trip that it is.
A strangely hypnotic and wonderfully original film.
