Review of Fantastic Planet (1973) by I Am Not — 30 Apr 2008

This film scared me to no end as a child, but now I do see the light of it- the film is wonderfull- it makes its point without being too pretenscious and the artwork really is atestament to animation- someone spent years toiling over this film- frame after hand drawn frame- this is truly art- its not some compressed cookie cutter cgi film thats tricked ouit to burger king for childrens toys, if you really lack the wit to see the beauty I truly pity you.
