Fantastic Four (FF) - Rise of the Silver Surfer is a worthy successor to the first film with the wedding of Reed and Sue being interrupted by world crises. Dr. Doom returns, encounters the Silver Surfer and aids the military and the FF in capturing the alien.
Sue connects with the alien and the team helps him after Doom betrays everyone and steals the Surfer's surfboard, also having killed a general. The FF defeat Doom and the alien helps the FF to defeat his inhuman master who is arriving to destroy the earth in order to restore his energy levels. 10/10.
Seeing the film since this original review I will add the following: one weakness of the film is that of the world destroying Galactus being more like space debris or a space hurricane than a humanoid like in the comic and that the Silver Surfer so easily destroys both himself and Galactus.
Really good was how The Human Torch's powers were malfunctioning and then exchanging with the powers of the others when they touched or came into contact. Johnny taking all the powers to fight.
Doctor Doom was a good way to showcase the use of the powers by one person. 8/10 is what I rated this film this more recent time.
