A step up from the first movie, with a cast much more comfortable with their characters and each other, and less of what didn't work before. Doctor Doom is better used. The charismatic Silver Surfer also helps, though the end seems like a cop-out (shouldn't he have thought of that solution earlier in his career with Galactus?).
The movie ends with a cliffhanger: what is up with Sue's contact lenses? They are distracting throughout the movie.
