Review of Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007) by Shane D — 16 Aug 2015

Flame on! Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer delivers yet another action-packed and entertaining adventure. When the Silver Surfer comes to Earth, the Fantastic Four must use all of their powers to stop him and his master from destroying the planet.

Unfortunately, there's a little too much going on in this film, leading to an erratic and unsatisfying story. In the attempt to make the film epic, it losses focus. However, the special effects are quite good; especially the Silver Surfer effects.

And once again, John Ottman provides an amazing score. Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer makes the classic mistakes of a sequel, but it still manages to be an exciting and fun filled film.
