I never had high hopes for this movie from the minute it was announced. and then I heard about all the troubles in production and when they were filming it, and my non existent expectations were lowered.

so I went into this film with those nonexistent expectations and still those were hammered 900 feet into the ground. the hate for this film is pretty incredible actually. I haven't met anyone who has liked this movie.

it was a doomed production from the start and that has gone on with its legacy way after the film was released. this film is an absolute mess and a complete trainwreck in every way imaginable. the actors are all so talented here and I like them all, and they were fine in this, but with what they were given, they couldn't stand out here and truly showcase their talent.

the only aspect I liked was the "body horror" type feel when they were getting their powers. it wasn't very prevalent, but when it was there, it worked. and then they get their powers and don't use them until like the last 20 minutes? and Doom was so damn ugly.

it didn't look like Doom or a Marvel villain and he was just a terrible villain in every way. the last 20 minute action scene that was supposed to be the big fight between the heroes and Doom but was one of the most convoluted, lazy, boring action scenes I've seen in a superhero movie ever.

this film is just awful in every way imaginable. there's like 2 things I liked and those were barely redeemable qualities. stay the hell away from this movie for the sake of your sanity. Fox give the rights back to Marvel for your sake.
