Review of Fantastic Four (2015) by Josh F — 09 May 2016
Fantastic Four was a fantastic failure. The concept and the heroes should make for a great film but the way this re-boot was done, it took all the fun out of it. Almost the entire movie was a buildup and a backstory to how the team met and eventually got the special powers.
Even thought that aspect took over an hour, you still did not feel connected to the characters and it was a long drawn out process. Once things finally got going there were a couple fun action scenes that were over much to quickly.
It all felt rushed at the end and it was not a fulfilling ending at all. They completely missed the whole point with this film, it wasn't funny, it wasn't action packed, it was slow and boring and while they tried to set it all up for a multi film franchise, it should never continue after this screw up.
