Secrets of Dumbledore recovers big time where the 2nd movie stumbled, possibly due to the edition of HP screenwriter Steve Kloves. The plot was much easier to follow and while being a tad slow or "boring" at times, it flowed much better.
Madds Mikkelson is an improvement over Johnny Depp, although missing a bit of the charisma that made Grindelwald a believable leader.
