Review of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) by Akio H — 27 Dec 2018
I was gripped from the beginning til the end. Several scenes with Newt and Tina were touching and sensitive, and Zoe Kravitz really shown as the brilliant character Leta Lestrange. Unfortunately, this movie felt better suited to book-form and I suspect casual viewers would have struggled to keep up with the plot â" which alluded heavily to potterhead-type references.
On the other hand, backlash from the section of the internet that loves cancelling things is over-hyped and certain 'canon-breakers' are explainable by the fact that this is the 2nd of 5 movies.
