Review of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) by Steve N — 29 Nov 2018
I enjoyed the first film. It was a pleasure to take a trip back into the wonderful wizarding world of Harry Potter. This venture tho seemed to be a bit of a place stopper. Alot of ..."just wait to see what happens next!!!" The acting was spot on tho and everyone was positively charming.
I do have a serious problem with this film tho . SPOILER they show 2 babies get killed in this . Once in the first 5 minutes and once later but the fact remains that they sat there and said...let's kill a baby for dramatic purpose, no wait kill two babies! As a father I have a HUGE problem with this. Violence against children is common enough in real life. It's sad, horrific and sickening. It doesn't need to be a part of our entertainment as well because honestly, what's entertaining about a toddler saying "mama?" and getting killed with a wand in cold blood? Not a dam thing.....
