Review of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) by Alvin S — 22 Dec 2018

My wife and I loved Crimes of Grindelwald. We thought the writing, the acting, and the staging, including the CGI, was the best of the Rowling world movies to date. I do think, that Grindelwald needs to be seen twice to be appreciated: once to get a feel for the characters and the overall story arc, and a second time to make sense of the details.

I get why some people wouldn't want to see a movie twice to appreciate it. But I see this as those people's loss - particularly those who have expressed a love of Rowling's other work.
