Review of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) by Bkristman — 16 Nov 2018
Since they announced that there are going to be 5 of these films this one kind of lost its luster for me. I assume these 3 middle ones will be just filler bridge I think leading up to the grand finale 5th one. It's not a bad film by any stretch of the imagination as they introduce new characters, new creatures and expand the story of Creedence .
He actually drags the film down a bit because he has no personality and the actor doesn't add anything to make him interesting .
The film has interesting locations and scenery and the amount of detail in the real and wizardly world is amazing .
There are twists and turns in the interactions of the characters a bit like a soap opera.
All in all it's a '7' for me and i'll watch it again for sure.
