Review of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) by Shelly M — 24 Nov 2018
Worst screenwriting ever. Nothing make sense!? Like really I haven't seen a film this dreadful for quite some while. From the childish dialogues to underdeveloped love-stories and to everything else.
The only acceptable thing about this entire movie is the special effects. I've never had an experience of which I just opened up amazon for some Black Friday shoppping in the middle of the theatre just to distract myself from the goddamn awkwardness.
It destroyed whatever little fondness I had for the first movie as well because of the terrible character developments. Seriously, Queenie, JUST WHAT IN THE WORLD. And Grindelwald being suspiciously German made a goddman political speech with pure english in the middle of the goddamn Paris during worldwar time.
Lmao. I'm only giving it a one star for the sake of it being an extension of my childhood franchise. I'm so very disappointed in this, I think I literallly wept blood by the end of the movie coming out of that theatre.
