Review of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) by Melissa F — 19 Nov 2018
Critics just suck now.
Seriously though, my husband and I went and saw Crimes of Grindlewald over the weekend and we both loved it. I have read all of the books and of course I have seen the movies, and he has seen the movies only -and ya, there were a few details I needed to fill him in on at the end. But just a few. He didn't feel lost or confused as I have seen some critics say, and I didn't think the movie was too heavy on exposition either. The whole theater seemed just as engaged as I was, everyone laughing at funny scenes, sighing at sad parts, and whispering at certian mysterious or unforseen events. Everyone walked out talking excitedly and speculating. I feel like critics just have to nitpick everything now so someone will read their blog, the movie was great, my husband and I both give it thumbs up.
